The Musicians That Made My New Album
This photo box contains just a portion of the talented human musician power it took to make my newest record, “You Don’t Really Know Me,” available now on your favorite streaming format or on CD/Vinyl from Black Mesa Records. Top row is Nikki Barber of The Minks. She sings killer harmonies on three tracks & is the secret weapon of this album & any album she works on. Next is Robin Eaton, producer, musician, magician, studio owner @clubroarrecording where the title track was recorded. Next is drummer, vocal harmonizer & Minks member Dylan Sevey He crushes the skins & sings too. Second row is drummer, songwriter Ryan Knaack who also took all the photos used in the artwork for this album. Brad Jones is in the middle, anchor & producer. He also played & sang. Packy B. played damn fine guitar on the title track. Bottom row, holding down bass duties, are Jonathan Beam & Tommy Scifres with Amanda Stone rounding out the sonic picture on vocal harmonies. Not pictured is Meredith Kimbrough, from Arkansas, who added beautiful harmonies on the song we wrote together at the Bentonville House Of Songs. Also not pictured is the great @lauren.markham.art who did all the graphic design & the mastering engineer Jim DeMain @yesmasterstudios Last but not least, big thanks to the full team working w/ Kris Payne @blackmesarecords (Lorie Liebig + Brad Paul, Al Moss , & my agent Denis Grabill for booking the shows.) Thanks all of you who listen to & buy music & call your Americana leaning radio stations to request the songs on this record. We really appreciate your support. Releasing an album is a massive team effort & we will be playing it live at Americana Fest. #album #vinyl #independentart #songwriter #radio
