BACK FROM ALASKA

 Greetings from Whites Creek, TN.

Alaska was, of course, a complete blast. That was my 19th consecutive Summer spent up North, and my 7th Salmonfest.

I have so many dear friends up there and I thank all of you for supporting me in my journey across the 49th State.  New experiences this year included a gig in Seldovia and a great week spent in Kodiak, which is a place that was everything I expected and so much more.  Big fish, bears, and big-hearted people.

Another new experience which involved a cause that is near and dear to my heart is a benefit show I did for the Northern Alaska Environmental Center.  They work hard to raise awareness about protecting the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge.  Together we have have just started our own festival called NORTHBOUND FESTIVAL.  Stay tuned for details of a 2019 event to be held in Fairbanks.

I am back in Nashville and about to host a Campfire Propaganda songwriter/voter registration event on Saturday, September 15th at 919 Gallatin Road from 11 to 7 pm that day.  There will be so many great Songwriters performing and also there will be an art exhibit by Jim White and Michael Weintrob.

I have a brand new booking agent in George Stagani at The O.G. Company. His email is george@theogco.com if you have any questions.  Next year is going to be quite busy with festivals and the FIFTY STATE HOUSE CONCERT TOUR.  If you would like to be part of this, please contact George.

After AMERICANA FEST I'll be off to Bristol for the Rhythm and Roots Reunion, which will also mark the one year anniversary of recording PACO & THE MELODIC POLAROIDS.  I made the album there just after last year’s festival.  I have VINYL and CD’s if you want any just write me here on the CONTACT page of TimEaston.com and I will send you a copy.   Overseas order also write me and we can work something out.  If you want the digital version just click on the link on the front page of my Website and you can get it for $7 on Bandcamp, or stream it for free.  It’s really easy to do.  I did not spend ANY money on publicity or radio for this album.  It is the first one that is 100% independent and I really thank you for your support.  It has been a very satisfying experience and there is more news coming regarding the next project, which I will make in Woody Guthrie's hometown.

My EUROPEAN TOUR DATES for Holland, Belgium, Danmark, Austria, Italy, and Spain are up at TimEaston.com   More dates will appear soon.  Please check in with me if you would like to host an event anywhere on the planet for 2019 as I am going to be playing HOUSE SHOWS in all 50 States next year, right after I go to Okehah, Oklahoma and record a new batch of original songs.

At the moment, I am releasing a daily video of cover songs that I love.  Songs that moved me and inspired me to write.  Songs that I want my daughter to know that I love.

All the best to you and your families as the Summer wraps up.

It has been quite an amazing traveling year, with much more to come, and I thank you all for your support of Campfire Propaganda Records & Books.

Love,

from Tim in Tennessee
